Every year on December 21st I sit down and draw my character Azial in her shark form with only common pencils. This is my ritual, this is my tradition. On December 21st of 2004 I drew a picture of Azial as a shark, it was the first picture I drew that lead me to become the serious artist I am today. This is how I track my yearly progress.
In one year there's been a lot of changes to Azial. In 06 she was Assai Shraeken, after a name change she's now called Azial WaveWhistler. She's grown a lot. So has my style. Not many artists can recall the day in which they picked up a pencil or pen and started seriously drawing. I'm proud that I do.
